Not to merntion an brand spanking new arena and a little warmer average temps. Average highs in the mid-60's.

The arena holds around 13,500. Could be half filled with Shox fans for our games. A SMU/WSU matchup could get a little nuts.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

If you've never spent any time in downtown Ft. Worth, you are in for a treat and will love it.

Agreed. Low hurdle here but it is so much more charming than downtown St. Louis (what isn't).

Slight correction, will hold, when completed.

They've barely broken ground, although the parking garage is coming along nicely. Expected completion date late 2019. No doubt assurances have been given, but 60 days after the end of 2019 the AAC is going to be pulling into town, and that margin leaves the air a little too thin for this cowboy.

Is the arena a lower bowl only arena or will it be a lower and upper bowl setup?

This won't be right in Downtown Ft. Worth will it? Looks like it will be in the Will Roger Memorial Center which looks to be about 1.5 miles, maybe 2) west of downtown. Still plenty close enough if you want to go downtown though. I like the location.

Artistic renditions make it appear to be a slightly larger JQH.

This site says it has a 3-level seating bowl.

Sited on the Will Roger’s Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth’s Cultural District, the new Dickies Arena, designed by David M. Schwarz Architects, will...

The annual Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo will occupy the arena for 3 weeks beginning January 12th for the 2018 event. Not Pretty Prairie but I bet it's pretty good.

That not much arena for the money. And the architecture is such that it will look 75 years old the day it is completed, and not in a classic and timeless sort of way, but more like here's the ol' horse barn at the state fairgrounds sort of way.

                              Fort Worth is excellent news.

                              Now let's get real:

1)Does the artistic rendention show where Shocker fans will sit?

2)If not, what's East Carolina's ticket office phone number?

                              3) How much will beverages cost?

                              Too early?
